Sam and Joe were planning to make a trip to the time of dinosaurs with the help of their magical time machine. Just then, their friend Don arrived there. He asked, "how is your plan going?" Sam said, "good and you are right on time" closing his luggage and packing up his binoculars. As they hopped on the time machine, Don said, "wait for me" and so Sam, Joe and Don went. Sam yelled, "first stop at cretacious period!" So the time machine stopped at the cretacious period with a sound "boom....mmm... boom...". When Sam looked out from a window he saw a
Trianosaurous! At the same time a pack of Trodons were searching for food and when he looked up he saw the whole sky filled up with Pteranodon. Now the Trianosaurous left the place, so Sam, Joe and Don got out of the time machine to explore. At the same time a pack of Trodons sneaked into the time machine and hid under Don's seat. They found Don's luch box and were gazing at it. It was now time to move on, so Don and friends hopped back into the time machine. Don did not notice about the pack of Trodons under his seat. The three friends felt hungry and when Don reached down he got a Trodon instead of his lunch box! He liked Trodon and admired it for a while. He decided to take it back home. Don bent down to reach his lunch box but to his surprise he did not see any thing but a pack of Trodons eating his lunch! Don showed this Trodon and explained what is happening under his seat to Joe and Sam.
By the time the time machine arrived at the Jurassic period and the time machine's door opened. A baby Heterodontosaurus followed by a baby Allosaurus got into the time machine and hid themselves under Joe's seat while Joe and friends were staring at the nature and looking at the errupting volcanos with their binoculars. The baby Heterodontosaurus and baby Allosaurus were not hunting for food but they were playing with each other. Joe found something tickling under his leg so when he bent down he saw both baby Allosaurus and baby Heterodontosaurus playing with each other. He admired them and decided to take them back home and keep them as a pet.
Now the time machine moved and arrive at late Triassic period. They saw a 10 feet Herrerasaurus catching a 3 feet Earaptor to eat but the earaptor saw the time machine and ran towards the time machine as fast as it could and hopped into the time machine and went under Sam's seat. On seeing this the Herrerasaurus saw Don, Sam and Joe and thought that they were some other dinosaur and started to chase them to eat. So they started the time machine and hurriedly left the place. Sam was scared to death and dropped his binoculars down, soon the time machine fled out of sight. Sam was ok now and bent down to pick his binoculars and bingo he found the earaptor sitting tight under his seat and it was all trembling due to fear. Sam took the earaptor in his hand and comforted it and decided to take it back with him to his home.
Now the time machine arrived at the Pleistocene Epoch of the Quaternary period. The time machine started to travel slowly. They saw early humans and saw various kings, queens and even the battles between great kings!. Now they arrived at year 2010 and went back home.
They unloaded all their things and their newly adopted pets and guess what Sam found an Egg of a Pteranodon in his rolling back pack. "krr..krr..cruck..............cru...ck" the egg shell cracked and guess what a baby Pteranodon came out!
Now we have different kinds of dinosaurs in our time period!

Tornadoes
Tornadoes also known as twister cause a lot of damage. They start from supercells. Supercells stick out from the clouds (see pictures of supercells). Tornadoes sometimes come with hurricanes. Huricanes are the worst storms. The eye of a hurricane looks like you are flying on top of a tornado and see the whole thing around. Tornadoes suck up things like vaccum cleaners. They suck up houses, trees, trucks, humans and all living things! It is not a tornado fault it only come from mother nature! So remember when you see a supercell, it will give you a hint that tornado will come so watch out for those tornadoes and be safe. 1. Never go too close to a tornado

The best day on the farm
On Feburary 15th Monday I visited a farm with my dad and brother. We went to McClelland's Dairy at Petaluma which is 75 miles from our home. It took 1.5 hours to reach this place. This barn has 800 milking cows, 20 bulls, 500 calves and 4 baby goats.
First I went to the office. There I met the dairy owner Jena. Jena took us to the barn. First in the barn I saw calves. In the barn to my right side most of the older calves were taking rest and on to my left the younger calves(2-3 months) were all active and eating their food. I showed my love to these calves by patting on their head. I got near to the baby goats and all the baby goats ran towards me. Even though it was the first time I met them they were still kind to me. Some calves tried to trick me. The calves came out and when I tried to touch them they backed off. I showed sign to one calf to come towards me with my hand but the calf backed off and said, "moo" . It meant, "what do mean of come hear?". It really knows the sign language! So, I din't know what to do. Then when I went near another calf which was really really lazy! At first I had no idea why it did not come near me.
Then we went to see the big cows getting milked. They had machine which gets attached to the area of the cow where it produces milk. It pinches that area and the milk comes out. The milk comes out through a tube and gets collected in a container. The cow had a chip in its neck which is read by a computer to know how much milk the cow can produce. The machine stops milking the cow once that amount is reached in the container. Jena said we could pet a cow which is 5.5 feet big!. She got a big Jersey cow to pet. My brother got scared seeing that cow and he ran towards my dad. I said, "don't worry it doesn't bite it is a herbivore". Then I asked Jena if I can feed the cow. Jena said, "yes" and got some grass and handed it to me. I kept the grass in my hand and gave it to the cow. The cow first smelled it and later ate it. So I asked Jena, "why did it first smell instead of eating it" Jena said, "because it just makes sure that it eats its own food and not something else". Now I asked Jena if I can feed the baby goats as well? Jena said, "sure" and I went back to the barn where the baby goats were kept. I fed the baby goats with the grass that Jena gave me. My brother was little scared so he put the grass next to the bucket of water while I was trying to save the fly which was stuck in the water by blowing in the water. To me it was like a video game!
My dad went to Jena's office and got some butter at the same time I found out why the cow was so lazy. The cow was lazy because it's eyes were red. It indicates that it was tired.
We all left from the barn and went back home.

Trip to Soda Springs
On February 13th 2010 we went to Soda Springs. Soda Springs is a ski resort 6000 feet above sea level. It is near Sacramento - capital of our state California. I went to Soda Springs with my family in our Honda Odyssey van. It took 2.5hours from our home to reach Soda Springs.
On my way to Soda Springs I saw buildings, walls and other areas with snow on them. It looked like we were in a land full of whip cream! Before we got out of the van we ate our food. We took our sled and started walking from the car parking lot to the ski resort. There was a bridge on the way and the water underneath was frozen, near the bridge I did some tricks with my sled. Near the ski entrance a person said, "No sled allowed" "You can go tubing" so my dad went back to keep the sled in our van. My dad back and we all went to the ticketing area. While my dad was standing in the line to buy tickets for us, I saw other kids playing in the snow that was under the ticketing area so me and my little brother Vishnu joined them to play with snow. My dad came back with the tickets and so we went and waited for the snow mobile to come and pick us up. While waiting in the line for snow mobile we took our pails, shovels and forks to dig snow and make stuff. I made a leaning tower of Pisa! My brother knocked down my Leaning Tower of Pisa and so I knocked his snowman down which made him cry!
The snow mobile arrived and we all got into it. It was fun riding the snow mobile. The snow mobile took us to the other side of the Soda Springs, which is called the Kids Planet. First we went on a tube ride. In the middle of the ride my brother tried to give me a 5 and he fell down so the ride stopped. So we hopped on to the tube again to take another ride. Next, we went for tubing several times. We had to wait in the line and get a tube. Then we took the tube in an escalator and went to the steep part, then my mom or dad would swirl and let us down which slide down fast to the other side. The first time someone was standing on the way and the tube which was carrying me, knocked her down. We did tubing several times. After that I rode a snow mobile all by myself. In the first round I fell down. The second time I could finish 10 rounds without any problem. We climbed on a heap of snow which looked like a snow mountain and slide down on the other side. The first time I slide down on my back but the next time I slide down on my tummy and got hurt.
We went to the cafe and had hot chocolate and potato chips. Before we left I made a snowman.
We left Soda Springs in the evening. On our way back home I felt hungry and so we went to an Indian Restaurant and had food. On the way back I was tired and I hoped not to sleep but I fell asleep.

The Mouse that jumped from its house
Once there was a mouse named Couse who was painting his house. Couse was painting his house white while his friends were re-painting the same place with black paint. One mouse jumped from the house so the other mice started jumping from the house. One mouse dropped the black paint on the white mouse Couse. Couse could not move with the paint pail on his tail and so slipped into the orange paint pail in his house. Couse jumped up and down and broke his house. Couse now became hungry and so he ate a piece of brick thinking that it was a piece of grain. So Couse had a stomach ache and his stomach became bigger and bigger with all gas and soon he was floating in the air and started to jump from one house to other and soon all the mice started to jumping here and there. Every house that they jumped started to break into pieces. The jumping mice started to multiply soon all the mice in the neighborhood joined together and broke all their houses thinking that it was fun! Even the baby mice were coming to have the fun. The message started to spread and soon all the mice from all over the world started to jump and break their houses like Couse!
All the mice ate a piece of brick and started to drift off. While they were drifting off they saw a plane and as they went higher they went past the plane suddenly all the mice lost the air in their tummy and started falling down Boo..........................om! CRAS.................H! They landed on the plane and had a plane ride. After that they reached the airport along with the plane. So all the mice got off and went into the airport. All the mice quickly hurried to Terminal No 3. There in Terminal 3 they found a crystal. "Oh! What is this?" asked Couse to his fellow mouse. All the mice shouted " a dog, a dog, a dog..........." seeing a pet dog. Now all the humans shouted "mice, mice, mice..........every where mice!!" Quickly, all the mice sneaked out of the airport and went to the hotel nearby. Oh! what a luck these mice found a good hotel to live. They all joined and lived with each other in the hotel forever.

The Chicken Robot
Once upon a time there was a man named Phillip. Phillip loved Robots. He loved to see the robots and how they work. Phillip knows how to make robots and that is what he is doing now. He is making a chicken robot. It is going to be big when it is finished. Infact, it is going to be humongous! The chicken robot lay robot eggs that hatch into chicken robots. But then when Phillip finished it started throwing eggs everywhere. Two eggs got thrown into Phillip's eyes! This was looking very funny so one of his family members sent it to America's funniest home videos. The robot started laying eggs everywhere in Phillip's office and then the eggs started to hatch and they threw eggs too! Soon his house was full of eggs, his neighborhood was filled with eggs. Phillip tried to stop the robot from throwing out eggs but he cannot reach to the top of the robot to tighten the egg throwing screw. The chicken was out on the street throwing eggs. He tried to climb on the shoulder of the chicken robot with a ladder but then the robot moved and he fell down into the gutter where the rain water drains into the bay! Soon the city, state and the whole country was filled up with chicken robot eggs. Phillip asked his friend Bobby who was having jet packs and a wrench, "Bobby can you please fly up 5 miles to the top of the chicken robot and tighten the screw with your wrench?" Bobby said, "Yes" and he almost did it. First Bobby tightened the red color screw which wasn't really the screw, the chicken started growing very very wild. It started to know down the houses and threw eggs on the roof of the houses. The roofs started to crack, the chicken started to knock down the trees that broke the windows! Bobby's grandfather was making hamburger at his home one part from the broken window fell into the hamburger. Bobby was confused about the screws so he looked around and forgot about the screws as which is for which. Bobby's favorite color was blue so he tightened the blue color screw. The chicken robot became so, so, so, so wild that it became very tired and stopped working. Everyone cheered up Bobby and Phillip for their work! But then the chicken started to work again what a surprise this time the chicken robot was friendly and it did not do anything wrong. It fixed the broken houses roof and windows. The chicken robot also helped Bobby's grandfather to take the glass piece out of hamburger and it informed Bobby that lunch is ready! Everyone cheered for the chicken, Bobby and Phillip.

What hatches from Egg?
Dinosaurs, amphibians, lizards and many other species are born hatched from eggs. All dinosaurs hatch from eggs and some other creatures that lived with dinosaurs such as worms, insects and birds. Dinosaurs belong to a group called reptiles. Mammals are opposite of the reptiles in terms of giving birth but the platypus lays eggs and it is a mammal!
